Xanthosoma lindenii syn. Caladium lindenii (Angel Wing)
Native to the mountainous regions of Columbia, this plant has many names due to being reclassified, however the variety name 'Lindenii' has stuck, and references the Belgian botanist who 'discovered' it. Part of the aroid family, it has become popular with houseplant growers due to its pronounced veins that are a creamy white coloration. The leaves can grow up to 30cm in length, making them quite a statement in the house. The cultivar grows from a rhizome and is commonly grown as an ornamental plant.
