Vanda orchids are a beautiful and unusual hybrid orchid. The Vanda orchid are epiphytic, this means they don't grow in soil instead they attach their roots to a nearby surface to obtain nutrients and water. They are native to areas of Asia. This variety has thick deep green glossy strap-like leaves. The large white flowers are beautiful and delicate. These come with a hanging wire in a terracotta pot with its roots hanging down. The nature of their suspension makes them an incredibly dramatic plant to have in your house. One of these has just ended it flowering period, the other is in full bloom

RATING- Moderate

LOVES- A bright spot away from direct sunlight. Water from the bottom roughly once a week allowing the roots to soak and then let them dry.

HATES- Roots sitting in water, tip away excess after soaking.
