The Rhipsalis eliptica is native to Brazil. It is epiphytic which means it can be found in tree branches and trunks. It is a multi branched cactus with pendant shaped segments. They are characterised by thick green stems which have a tinge of magenta to the edges. They can produce small yellow flowers from the notches on the stems.

LOVES- Being watered when most of the soil is dry, reduce watering in its dormant period. High humidity.
HATES- Direct sunlight, soggy/overwet soil.
