These perennial plants grow in a rosette shape, with glands on the upper surface of the foliage. The glands of Pinguicula produce a sticky fluid which insects are attracted to, they then get stuck on the foliage and the enzymes the plant creates break down and absorbs the minerals. This particular species is native to Mexico.

LOVES- Full sun to light shade! Must be kept wet at all times. Never allow the soil to dry out

HATES- Tap water - try to use rain water for these plants as they don't appreciate the chemicals found in tap water
