The Pilosocerus is a fast growing cactus that is native to Brazil. The green/blue hue stems are thick and ribbed and is covered in a waxy layer that helps protect it from harsh sunlight. Covering the ribs are short golden spines. In their natural habitat they can grow up to 3 meters. In the summer white flowers bloom at night.
