Philodendron plowmanii (Philodendron)
Please note, we unfortunately cannot post these plants due to their fragile nature. They can be ordered for collection or local delivery in Brighton and Hove.
The Philodendron plowmanii is a relatively rare new comer to the house plant world. It is similar in appearance to the Philodendron mamei. This fantastic houseplant is known for its large heart-shaped leaves with stunning colours and texture. When young this plant has silvery patches but as it grows and becomes established the leaves mature to varying shades of greens and yellows. They grow large when receiving lots of sunlight (in-direct). This plant has a natural crawling habit, where it creeps along the dense forest floor of Peru and Ecuador.
RATING- Moderate
LOVES- Bright but indirect light. Water roughly once a week but allow the soil to dry out a little in-between.
HATES- Dust, keep leaves clean with a damp microfibre cloth. Doesnt tolerate dry air but mist occasionally to increase the air humidity.
Pot diameter 15cm
