Philodendron brandtianum (Silver Leaf Philodendron)
The branftianum is a beautiful variety of philodendron. Its green heart shaped leaves which are dotted with silver patches, giving it its common name. When grown indoors this plant can reach to around 4 to 5 feet. You will find this plant in the rainforest of South America in places such as Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Ecuador.
RATING: Super easy to care for.
LOVES: A semi-shady position, away from direct sunlight. Water roughly once a week, allowing the top two inches of soil to dry out in between.
HATES: Dust, keep your leaves clean with a damp microfibre cloth. They can tolerate dry air but mist occasionally to increase the air humidity or use a humidifier.
