This super trendy plant is a must for your interior! The Monstera Monkey Mask is the hipster brother of the better-known Monstera Deliciosa. This hanging plant is quirky and does what it wants, with its cute little holes in the leaves and quirky shapes. Because the holes in the leaves are so unusual, the plant has been named 'Monstera', which means 'strange' in Latin. These holes don't only give the plant a special look, in nature they are also very useful. They prevent the plant from being blown over during a storm, because most of the wind and rain goes the holes.

Care
The Monstera Monkey Mask is originally a tropical plant. Make sure that the plant's potting soil is always slightly moist. Try to spray the leaves of the Monstera regularly, this will prevent the edges of the leaves from drying out. The Monstera can grow very fast and develop long branches with leaves of up to several metres long. The plant prefers a light place without direct sunlight.
