Mammillaria polythele (Many Nipple Cactus)
The Mammillaria polythele is native to Mexico. The word 'polythele' means 'many nipples' this is in reference to the many tubercles this plant has. It is a dark green/blue cylindrical cacti covered in many tubercles from which the spines grow. This cacti is upright and can grow up to 60cm but can sprawl if it becomes too heavy. Its diameter can reach up to 10cm. Each areole has 2-4 central spines but no radial. In summer it can produce pink flowers in a crown at the top of the stem.

LOVES- A bright sunny position, a sunny windowsill is ideal. Ensure it receives good light in the Winter months.
HATES- Overwatering- water sparingly every 2-3 weeks and reduce in winter allowing it to fully dry out.
