The Mammillaria marksiana is native to the desert regions of Central America particularly Mexico. It forms a flattened globular shape which is green with sparse yellow spines. It can grow up too 10cm high and 12cm in diameter. It flowers in spring during the day in a ring which are a bright yellowy/green.

LOVES- Well draining, porous soil. Lots of bright light.

HATES- Water-logged soil.
