Hoya pubicalyx 'Silverspot'
The 'Silver spot' is a beautiful plant native to the Philippines and is part of the Apocynaceae family. It is very similar to the Hoya carnosa 'Splash' but this variety has more variegation and wider leaves. Beautiful silver splotches cover the green leaves of this Hoya, which also produces pink flowers that are very fragrant.
RATING- Moderate
LOVES- Dry to semi-dry soil. This plant could grow out of orchid bark so minimal watering is required. Would benefit from misting occasionally. Bright light with some sun is the position.
HATES- Over-watering or waterlogged soil-which will lead to root rot. This plant doesn't like to be re-potted too frequently as it prefers to be root bound. Do not remove dead flowers.
Pot diameter 9cm
Pet safe
