Gymnocalycium 'Saglionis' (Giant chin cactus) - British Grown Cacti
Gymnocalycium Saglionis is also called a Giant chin cactus. It is a bumpy globular cactus and is native to Northwest Argentina in rock dry areas. It produces a solitary green/blue stem which can grow up to 15cm tall and 30cm wide. It produces very robust curved spines that are yellow/ brownish in colour which can reach 4cm long. It will start to bloom in mid spring with large pinky/white flowers at the top of the cacti.
RATING- Easy
LOVES- Well draining, porous soil. Lots of bright light.
HATES- Water-logged soil.
