Recently reclassified as a Goeppertia veitchiana, the 'Flamestar' has a similar leaf shape to the well known Calathea 'Medallion' and also has stunning foliage. Striped flashes of pale and dark green make up the larger than hand sized leaves, framed by the rippled edge. Originating from tropical America.
RATING- Moderate
LOVES- Partial shade, away form direct sunlight as this will cause the pattern on the leaves to fade. Water once a week from spring-autumn and reduce in winter.
HATES- Dry air, keep the plant well misted especially in summer.
