Boasting beautiful patterned leaves, with vareigated green, white and purple leaves in varying shades, this Calathea makes a wonderful houseplant. Recent reclassification means that although this plant is known as a Calathea, it's actual genus is Goeppertia! As it is a member of the prayer plant family, during the day the leaves lower and then rise at night, an adaptation that helps the plant absorb and reflect light.
